Wonder-strike fires West End win

    Published: 14 October, 2016

THE Camden and Regent’s Park Football Youth League saw a full programme packed with great performances at the weekend – including a quick-fire victory for West End FC’s Under-13s team against Quintin Kynaston.

Despite playing a match shortened by a half – the game kicked off late – the Enders chalked up their third successive victory with a 7-0 win that featured a wonder-strike from Kaine Jones Sayer.

The midfielder beat two players on the right before placing a long range drive into the top corner.

Other stand-out displays included a barnstorming show as a defensive centre-midfielder by Gabriel Hann and by defender Bruno Lansdown.

Elsewhere Queens Park Sharks, who are yet to lose a game this term, beat rivals Priory Park FC 6-0, while Highgate Rangers netted an impressive 2-0 win over The Hill.
