THE Camden Sunday League was hit by frost at the weekend with all six scheduled fixtures at Hackney Marshes being postponed, writes Steve Barnett.

The winter weather didn’t stop players from Crouch End Rangers celebrating when they beat Philippine FC in the Challenge Cup the previous weekend.

Strikers Ramon Chaves (pictured) and Jon Taylor both bagged two goals each, while man-of-the-match Sam Williams was also on target in the 5-3 victory.

Midfielders Ishan Al-Thamir and Eddie Guevarra and forward Richie Caparros were all on target as Philippine played their part in a classic cup contest.

The goals were also flying in Division One, where strikes from Masih Faqiri and Andrew Feeney, plus an own-goal, saw FC Crusaders run out 3-2 victors over rivals Badu Sports FC.
