LEADING scorer Jon Taylor made it four goals in four games at the weekend as he helped Crouch End Rangers overcome London Badgers in the opening round of the Camden Sunday League Challenge Cup.

Declan Taylor was also on target in the 2-0 win at Hackney Marshes, while Joshua Weinberg put in a man-of-the-match display in defence to earn Rangers a clean sheet.

St Peter’s midfielder Rob Dawson is proving even more unstoppable in front of goal as he took his tally to four goals in just two appearances.

His brace, along with a well-taken goal from forward Alistair Godrich, ensured that Islington-based St Peter’s progressed in the cup with a 3-1 win over Enate United.

St Peter’s are joined in the next round of the Challenge Cup by Philippine FC, who booked their place with a 1-0 victory over The Hurricanes courtesy of a neat finish from midfielder Robert De Peazer.

Goals from defender James Sheen and midfielder William Hawkins also saw Auld Shillelagh safely make it through with a 2-0 win over Dinamo Dorigo.

Clerkenwell Old Boys are also still in the mix following their 2-1 victory over AFC Brasenose.
