Parade up for sale but Owl Bookshop is staying put

    Published: 25 November, 2016

THE owners of a group of shops on Kentish Town Road – including the famous Owl Book Shop – have put them up for sale for around £4million. Businesses will not be affected by the sale, marketed by auctioneers Allsops. Rose Cole, of the Owl’s parent group, Daunt Books, said the sale would not mean the closure of the popular bookshop, adding: “There would be complete uproar in Kentish Town if anything should happen to it.”
