HAT-TRICK hero Miles Angell led Chalk Scratchings to the biggest win of the weekend in the Camden Sunday League as they smashed seven past Enate United at Hackney Marshes.

Attacking from the wing, the man-of-the-match needed less than five minutes to open the scoring as his first real shot of the game trickled over the line.

Angell then turned provider as he whipped in a dangerous corner that striker Cary Hudson volleyed home with aplomb.

The goals were soon flooding in with regularity as Angell netted his second from the penalty spot before going on to complete his well-taken treble, while Hudson also doubled up his tally on the day to make it five goals in five appearances.

Hector Chavez also got in on the act as he bagged a brace in a resounding 7-1 victory, a result that leaves Chalk Scratchings fourth in the Division Two table.

In Division One, leaders Crouch End Rangers bagged the bragging rights over title rivals Auld Shillelagh as they secured what could prove a massive three points come the end of the season.

Goals from Wally Downes, Sudannah Sivarajah and Declan Taylor sealed a 3-2 victory to leave Rangers a point clear at the top of the table.

James Sheen and Alex Wren were on target for Auld Shillelagh.

The Hurricanes are second and have a game in hand over Rangers following their 3-1 victory over London Badgers. Striker Simon Lawrence struck twice, while Denis Crushell was also on target
