Goalfest plotting: Sharpshooters in cup showdown

    YOUNG footballers from Camden Elite huddle for a vital team talk, trying to work out how they’re going to stop a team that’s just hit double figures in one match, from doing the same to them, writes Steve Barnett. 

    That’s the challenge the Under-13s squad now faces after being told that in the quarter-finals of the London FA Youth Cup, they will be taking on Kentish Town Football Academy, who won 15-0 on Saturday. 

    They say the best form of defence is attack; and that’s certainly the case for Elite, who won their London Cup clash against Clapham Rangers 12-0 to set up the mouth-watering showdown.
